About Pearl of the Sea Apartments
The apartments will be built to a high specification and include a fully fitted kitchen with all white goods, excluding dishwasher and washing machine for which plumbing will be pre-installed. Construction will commence in September 2008 with completion in mid 2010. Payment terms are 35% on issue of contract and 65% on completion.
About the Resort
Pearl of the Sea is an exclusive development of just 48 two bedroom, one bathroom apartments. Situated on an elevated site only 300 metres from the beach, it is close to the small seaside resorts of Melito Porto Salvo and Pentaditillo on the south coast of Calabria between Reggio di Calabria and Brancaleone. All apartments will have sea views and a nearby ancient church restoration will house a traditional Italian restaurant. Golf is just 20 minutes away and in 45 minutes you can reach the Gambari Ski Resort in the Aspromonte national park.
About the Area
Reggio di Calabria overlooks the straits of Messina and hydrofoils and ferries regularly cross the 7 miles to Sicily. Reggio has excellent shops, nightlife and a plentiful choice of restaurants offering local and international cuisine. Melito Porto Salvo is a small sea side resort which is bordered by one of the most amazing beaches on the Ionian ocean. Pentidattilo is an old village built in the palm of a mountain shaped like a hand, from which it takes its name "five fingers". The surrounding area possesses a breathtaking natural beauty. Reggio airport, with connecting flights to the UK via the major northern Italian cities and Rome, is just 30 mins, while Lamezia airport with direct flights to Stansted is around 90 mins away.
